Page 248, Delete Section 1.09 Personal Protection Systems, and insert the following information: 1.09 PERSONAL PROTECTION SYSTEMS A. Emergency Call Boxes and duress buttons shall be provided in strategic locations throughout new building interior and exterior areas. B. Interior Call Box – To be located in common areas such that a box or strobe light is visible from any hallway location in the building. 1. Code Blue CB 6-p Wall-mount 2. Code Blue IP5000 FP1 Speakerphone 3. Code Blue S-1000 LED Beacon/Strobe and Remote Mount C. Exterior Call Box – To be located in high traffic areas between buildings and around building perimeter. Coordinate with Facilities for location assignment. 1. Code Blue CB 1-d Call Tower with custom TCCD Finish. 2. Code Blue Overhead Camera mount (Coordinate Camera Requirements with TCCD) 3. Code Blue CB 2-s Wall-mount with custom TCCD Finish. 4. Code Blue IP5000 FP1 Speakerphone D. Duress Buttons – Duress Button requirements differ from building to building, coordinate with PD for project specific requirements. 2. Wireless emergency notification clock units shall be located in Classrooms, Conference Rooms, Meeting Areas and Hallways. 1. A. Hallways – Power receptacle to mounted directly adjacent to message board, located 12” below finished ceiling height. C. Wallmount – Power receptacle to be a recessed clock-type mounted horizontally directly behind message board, located 12” below finished ceiling height, with a 14’ maximum height. Locate message board opposite the main teaching wall or marker board.
