1. Page 31, after Section 101, I, add the following:
J. The design professional and/or contractor shall assess existing project site conditions for all items
on TCCD PRE-RENOVATION CHECKLIST on pages 32-33 of this document and all other relevant
items.
2. Immediately following Page 31, add pages 1-2 of the attached TCCD PRE- RENOVATION CHECKLIST
document.

3. Page 120, Section 101, A, revise to read as follows:
A. STEEL PIPE AND FITTINGS
1. Fire sprinkler piping NPS 2 or smaller shall be Schedule 40 and may be joined by either
threaded fittings, welding or grooved coupling fittings. Fire sprinkler piping larger than
NPS 2 shall be Schedule 10 (minimum) and may be joined by threaded fittings, welding or
grooved coupling fittings. All grooved coupling fittings shall be Victalulic brand, domestically-
manufactured 73-009N FireLock EZ type fittings. Grooves for piping NPS 2 or smaller shall
be machine-rolled, not cut. Groves for piping larger than NPS 2 shall be machine-cut, not
rolled. Where piping is welded, all welds shall be primer coated. Flex drops must have 2 inch
minimum bend radius. All pipe and fittings shall be domestically manufactured.
4. Page 123, immediatelyfollowing Section 101, I, 3 add:
4. Signage must be visable and must reflect:
a.Map, with labels, indicating which area that riser serves.
b.Shut off valve location.
c.Main Riser - indentification of attached antifreeze, dry, pre-action, and auxillary
systems.
d. Anti-freeze system design information.
