Riverside Drive  Fort Worth, Texas 76137 Subject: Public EV Charger Operating Standards Tarrant County College is pleased to provide a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Station for eligible vehicles, i.e., Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). According to the US Department of Energy, hybrid and plug-in electric vehicles can help increase energy security, improve fuel economy, lower fuel costs and reduce emissions. To standardize the procedures for public use of EV chargers located at TCCD facilities, we recommend the following guidelines: 1. Locaon The dual-port charging unit is located in the parking lot at the Tarrant County College Opportunity Center (TCCOC) at 5901 Fitzhugh Ave., Fort Worth, 76119. The two (2) parking spaces are specially marked for EVs only. There is a sign behind the charging unit, specifying the spaces are available only for acvely charging vehicles. Spots are not to be used for overnight or long-term parking. 2. Use The two EV charger ports can be ulized to charge both BEVs and PHEVs. The unit is accessible from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, 7 days a week. Charging unit users are responsible for neatly replacing the charging cables on the respecve hooks when finished. 3. Payments The cost for charging vehicles is $1 per hour (the approximate equivalent of $0.10 per kilowat-hour (kWh)). If two vehicles are charging at the same me, the electricity and cost will be split between them. Customers can pay by credit card at the charger or through the Revitalize Charging Soluons (RCS) app. Disclaimer: The use of the public EV charger is a transacon between the end user and RCS. Any issues should be resolved with RCS. Revitalize Charging Soluons Email: info@revitalizechargingsoluons.com Phone: 817-659-1030, opon 2 4.
