The following changes are included in the tenth edition of the Technical Design Guideline, which will the
the final addendum release since the Technical Design Guidelines are going to real time editing from this
date moving forward:
DIVISION 1
1. In the introduction, modify the first two sentences of the first paragraph, and the first
sentence of the third paragraph as indicated to reference other upcoming standards to be
followed.
2. Section 1.03, add item ”E” as shown to reference new location for all TCCD design and
construction standards.
3. Section 1.07, modify the first sentence of the introductory paragraph as shown.
4. Section 1.09, items D and E, revise entirely as shown. Remove process description from the
Variance and Change Request forms in the TCCD Website.
5. Revise the responsibility chart to show contractor to provide and install AED and Evacuation
Chairs.
DIVISION 8
1. Change section 1.09 header to read “Overhead Doors”, include information as shown and
shift the section numbering that follow as shown.
DIVISION 10
1. Add new item “12” in section 1.04.
2. Change section 1.07, item A, 1, 5, 6 and 8 as shown.
3. Add Evacuation Chairs as item 1.08 as shown, shift all other
section numbers as shown.
4. Add new section 1.09 as shown and shift all other section
numbers as shown.
5. Add section 1.13 as shown.
DIVISION 11
1. Add item B to section 1.0.
2. Add section 1.12.
3. Add new section 1.08 for Sterilizers and shift the section numbers
of the remaining sections.
4. Modify section 1.04 A 1 a and c as shown.

DIVISION 22
6. Add new item “B” to section 1.01.
7. Add floor mounted sink to section 1.05, B. Shift item numbers
accordingly.
DIVISION 26
1. Modify section C, item 1, in 1.01, to clarify location of lighting
standards.
2. Add item 2 to section 1.01, C.
3. Add item E to section 1.01.
4. Add itemS M and N as shown to section 1.05.
DIVISION 28
1. Section 1.10, B, re-label item to clarify it refers to Alertus.
2. Section 1.10, B, items 2 and 3, clarify mounting heights and locations for Alertus beacons.
